Sarah Palin Rally

Everywhere you turn, people are talking politics. And this place is no different. :-) At least for today.

If you are tired of it, please indulge me for a moment. LeAnn and I had a great day at the Sarah Palin rally. I think this was the first political rally I've ever been to and it was fun. The excitement was contagious and I loved the speeches. Elisabeth said she was excited since it was the first time she can remember being able to speak for five minutes without being interrupted. Sarah Palin said that Barack Obama is acting like he's already won the race and said in playing basketball, you don't cut down the nets until you've won the game. Also, Fox News' Sean Hannity was there and walked over to our section, so LeAnn got him to sign her ticket. Here are some pictures:

Where we were sitting, you could see the person running the teleprompter program. I read along as she did her speech and she came off of it a couple of times to engage the crowd, referring to signs like "Joe the Filmmaker" and "Let Me Spread My Own Wealth."
